This video shows how each player card added to the game mid game (IF, MOTM, Position Change, Winter upgrade, Transfer) will only have 4 chem in game. These players do not lose fitness, but cannot get chemistry boosts at all.

Having heard about this the other day, I tried this team last night for a few games and it honestly felt perfectly fine. Regardless of the chem.
All special cards, (Except Legends) default to 6 chem (IG) by the way. No matter what chem they actually have.
Definitely worth trying it, also remember that sometimes the gameplay is to blame. Not your team/chem. Just keep that in mind.

It doesn't matter what chem they have, they could all show 3 chem, but all special cards (except Legends) default to 6 chem in game. So they literally play like the stats on the card suggest.
