You can get the drivers from [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] page. Under Download, click Driver then select Windows 10 64-bit in the OS list. Scroll down and download/install the ASMedia USB3.0/3.1 & Intel Chipset Drivers.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

With regards to the startup error message you're getting, after a quick web search I've found both of these methods have been claimed to work so I'll list them both.

Multiple users claimed that perfoming sfc/scannow has fixed the issue.

> Start ,
> Command Prompt
> Right-click & run as administrator.
> Type 'sfc /scannow' and hit enter (without quotation marks).
> Restart PC to take effect.

Multiple users claimed that installing a MS Visual C++ pack has fixed the issue too.

Still no luck with the usb ports after installing those drivers.
After installing the chipset I had to restart my pc for it to take affect but I noticed that my pc doesnt fully shut off now.
Like my screen will go black but the lights on my gpu, mobo and ram will still be lit.
I have to hold the power button on my case to shut it off completely.
I noticed this last night but didn't think it was a big deal.

I think that it is messing with the restart of the chipset drivers

It's definitely a driver issue, try reinstalling all the drivers from the disk that came with your motherboard/PC.

Failing that, you could try System Restoring your PC back to a date where you wasn't having the problems.

My pc doesnt have a disc drive where I can insert disc.
Will I lose any files if I system restore to a couple days ago?

I can't even system restore because it requires me to restart my pc and my pc won't even shut off completely, the screen will go black but my mobo, gpu and ram will still be lit so I have to hold the power button on my case for it to shut off completely.

This topic is a mess lol

OP, first thing, try resetting your CMOS battery on your motherboard. Turn off your PC, even if you have to hold the power button for this, fine. Unplug the power cable from the wall, turn your PSU off and press the power button a few more times. Take the side panel off and make sure you are not on carpet and ground yourself by touching the inside of the case to minimise as much static electricity as possible. On your motherboard you will fine a little silver round battery that is bigger than a watch battery, take that out and keep it out for about 10 minutes. Put it back in (don't close side panel yet, you may be going back in there.) Turn on your PC again and let it boot up again, the boot process may take longer from a clean CMOS so don't worry if it's taking longer than normal. See if all your USB ports work like they should. If they still don't work and if you have another USB header that can be used on your motherboard, turn off all power again and try switching the header. Turn your PC back on and try it again. If you have a PS2 adapter for your keyboard/mouse, you can also connect that into the back of your PC and see if that at least responds so you can do what you need to do.

I want to say I believe it's a motherboard issue. The reason I say this is because you mention your PC does not power off all the way without holding the power button; however that also makes me believe it can be a PSU issue. Motherboard and PSU issues would both cause the power off lock-up as well as the USB ports suddenly stop working. As for the AMD error you got, I can't help there as I have not used an AMD card in years and never got any errors when I used one, especially the error you got.

I'll try to get back to your response in a few hours to help further if you need it.

I reset cmos, unplugged psu and took battery out for 10 min and rebooted.
Usb ports are still not working.
The only usb port that works is one labeled, "USB 3.1 Gen 2 TYPE A" I've been swapping my kb & mouse in that port to navigate through my pc to try to fix this.

I appreciate everyone's help but I already called an it guy as this is frustrating me far more than it should as I'm no pc wiz and barely have a clue wtf I'm doing.
fml rip wallet.

USB 3.1 is a separate header on the motherboard so you more than likely fried your USB 2.0 ports somehow. Luckily as long as nothing else is damage, you can always buy a 4 USB hub for less than $20 so you can save yourself buying a new motherboard.

Did you suffer from a power cut out recently?
