Hello everyone, I am looking for a PC build for around 1000usd. I want this pc to last around 4 years without needing any upgrades. I will be using this for gaming and hopefully streaming and editing videos. It would also be nice if you could recommend me a keyboard, mouse, and monitor to use. Thanks

Do you want the keyboard monitor and mouse included in the 1000?

What games will you be playing?
What software will you be using?
Are aesthetics something you want? (panels, color schemes, LEDs)

Will you overclock?

As the question stated above, will you include the monitor, in the $1000 budget or is it separate?

This will be my first PC. I like playing older games like left for dead, the elder scrolls, fallout, overwatch, and some MOBA's like Smite.
As for software the only sort of heavy stuff would be audio/editing/recording software, and like photoshop or gimp.
As for aesthetics, the only thing i really want is a black case, with maybe blue LEDs. or even blue on the case.
I dont know much about overclocking but probably not.
I would also like to run games at 1440p 60fps if that would be possible. and the ability to upgrade in the future.
and the monitor doesn't have to be included in the around $1000 budget.

The 650W VGA unit means you have XFire support, so you could add a 2nd RX 480/580 at any point. The Seasonic unit is better quality, but lower wattage so no XFire support. Also, the Seasonic unit is fully modular, as opposed to semi-modular. Add an RGB LED strip and set it to blue. I included a nice 1440p monitor for you, and a budget kb/mouse combo.

Roughly the same price as 13's, when rebates end. 8GB of RAM would've been fine, but you wanted it to last, you can lower the final price by just getting a 8gb stick.

The k55 is a nice feeling keyboard, but wasn't my preference, i wanted something with more of a mechanical feel but membrane below. Anything from Logitechs prodigy lineup is good. if you don't mind one color only then look into the redragon lineup, cheap but quality feel mice, and some keyboards. Neither of these are macro boards. You're likely going to end up paying a tad bit more for that anyways, like I said above it is your choice.

If you were trying to squeeze it in or if it is on a separate budget, go with a redragon keyboard and mouse from wherever else.

keyboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] just choose a mouse that fits you or you think fits you well.

combo: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Just something simple and should be color adjustable.

As for aesthetics with the PSU, just take the side sticker off if you place it fanside down, that way it's just black.
