Hi TTG members.
I have a question about getting a Tattoo. Basically my Brother passed away a year ago (25/6/16) and I was thinking of getting a Tattoo to remember him by, the only problem is I've never had one and I am scared of needles. What is the least painful part of the body to get one? I'm thinking of getting a fat Buddha as he really liked them with his name and dates. Also does anyone have a rough price of the cost? I don't want it to big.
Thank you!

Price will depend entirely on the level of detail and the artist. You would be best off messaging some local tattoo parlours and getting a rough quote

As for places that don't hurt, anywhere that isn't too boney and you should be fine

I've had a lot of tattoo's, honestly the place which I didn't really notice was my upper arm, where the bicep area is. Pretty painless there, but it's entirely dependant on the persons pain tolerance.

Personally I would say either upper arm or back of the lower leg.

Price;- Entirely dependant on where you want to go, give me a rough size and I can give you a rough price. Question is if you're going to a shit quality studio/artist or a good one. Do your research first.

I was thinking maybe top of the arm and pretty detailed but black and white (Not Colour)
I don't want it too big either but not a cheap job

Price wont change dependant on colour, you'll be looking at a price per hour on your tattoos. Sometimes certain artists will give you a straight price for the full work.

My advice would be look at some of the best tattoo places in your area, do you research on some great artists and choose one. Next thing to do would be arrange a consultation, go in, say what you want and discuss it there and then.

That way you can figure out and finalise a design as well as sort something to fit your sort of price range.

I'd definitely say top of the arm, my behind the leg killed more than my throat tattoo, but I guess it's because I'm skinny or something idk, but I'd definitely recommend the arm since it is the least painful, but everyone has different pain levels and sometimes areas hurt more than others.

Well, for instance I have an upper arm tattoo covering the entirety of the outsideof it from my shoulder down to my elbow. Black & Grey - It cost me £540 for 8 hours of work.

Completely depends on your artist, but never cheap out on a tattoo since it's on you for life, always do research on the artist and their style before getting the piece.
