On a side note, I actually enjoyed seeing the wingers getting free roam today. We played with fluidity in the first half, for the first time in 3 years. Strange to see.
Second half when Martial came off for Fellaini it was back to 4-2-3-1, but in the end, that moment of magic from Carrick and Lingard, amazing. All in all, if we can keep the momentum that this game has given us, we can beat anyone. VIVA LA SMALLING. |

I think Young put in a very solid performance he's unplayable. |

Herrera wroteFielding wrote One of our better performances. Rooney with the calm finish, he played well in general. Won't forgive him for not bagging that earlier chance though. Lingard, Martial, Young, Rojo, Blind, Carrick, Schweinsteiger and De Gea all played very well. I could think of a lot of defenders better than Smalling. Good player but not one of the best in the world currently, maybe in the premier league though. |

Only CBs I would put above him this season are Ramos, Boateng and Thiago Silva. |

Also what is happening with Juve this season just checked up on their league position sitting in 10th 9 points off top.
They obviously hugely miss Tevez and Vidal. Also this season will tell if Pogba is what everyone describes him as or has Vidal just made him look better than what he is. |

Juventus got lucky tonight against Gladbach, they were dominating Juve.. Problem with Juve is they sold Tevez who was insane for them, signed Dybala and play him and Morata up front both young strikers but they won't have that much experience in big games, Morata has more experience.. Pogba looks lost in that midfield, just shows Vidal and Pirlo were everything in the middle, the defence is stayed the same but still concedes a lot more goals, you wouldn't think that was the team that made CL final last year. My predictions for this year CL final - Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid. |

Looks like Gerrard is coming back to us to train during the MLS off season. |

De Gea - Smalling - Schweinsteiger - Mata/Herrera/Rooney - Martial.
What a spine. Can't believe LVG has called Smalling "Michael" again hahaha, possibly getting in with the joke now? |

Tonight's results for the English clubs won't be good imo ; Chelsea 1-1 Kiev, Bayern 3-1 Arsenal.
Surely Jose knows now he needs to drop the players who aren't performing. |
