Hi all,
I'm off to university next week and plan on taking my PS4 however the internet there allows STRICT NAT only. Would there be a simple way ( not adding a router ) of getting past this which won't get me in big trouble? Thanks |

Why don't you just get a personal hotspot? If you have an unlimited data plan I think that's the best way to go. |

There will not be a way without speaking to the IT admin. There is a firewall upsteam in the network from your location. You're also more than likely on a Vlan which would make it a little more difficult. You can ask them for a port forward for your room; but there is a chance they may not be able to help.
My recommendation. Get a hotspot just for gaming. Do not download games on this connection. Use the internet at school for all of your downloads. |

I don't even game that heavily but the new modern warfare looks to good to miss considering I've avoided cod for many years |
