Hello all.

I purchased COD points for BO3 earlier this month. They never appeared. After talking with customer service several times and following all their steps, still no luck.

Finally I tried a third time. This time the rep asked me about a code on the side of the disc. After giving him the code, he said the points I purchased aren't compatible with the region the disc was intended for (or something to that effect). Luckily, he was able to give me a refund [Minimum post requirement for links] . I further asked if there was any way I could buy points for the game, such as redeeming "voucher codes" I've seen (don't know anything about them). He said that no, it wouldn't work.

Long story short, is this Sony punishing me for buying a game on Amazon? And is it BS that I can't effectively buy points any other way? I don't want to gamble on a voucher code if it's true that it won't work on my disc/system, and I don't want to buy the game again just to use points.

Any input helps. Thanks, friends
