He told me my holiday was tomorrow until Friday (told me this on Monday), asked me to book it on the app, I told him I didn't know how (he could of explained to me how), and asked if he could do it, he agreed, he messaged me tonight and said I am working tomorrow as I haven't booked it on the app (he also wrote it in the diary but the app makes it "official").
I am not going in tomorrow and will go in next Monday after my holiday ends, what's your thoughts on this? |

Assuming the whole conversation happened on monday alone, it sounds like a breakdown in communication somewhere
Yes he agreed to do it for you, but really you should of checked in with him during the week to make sure it was done on your behalf before it even got to the weekend, being a boss he'll have a lot more on his mind than just making sure your week off is booked. The best thing you could do rather than just taking your holiday when he's expecting you in, which would more than likely lead to disciplinary action for missing work, is to message him and reitterate the fact you asked him to put the holiday in for you as you didnt know how and go from there It sucks but that's the way the working world is, we're all pawns in someone elses chess game |

Always get holiday accepted via the official channels, if you don't know how; ask!
Otherwise the time hasn't been approved and are expected to work, you could get in trouble when you return for not turning up regardless of any prior verbal approval by your manager/boss. I would go in tomorrow and speak to your boss to get the rest of the week approved.. |

that's a hard one but it does sound like a miss communication depending on how much you like your job or not if you did like it I would say go in or at least text and call him and let him know what your doing and where you stand, never leave your boss on read or ignore them if you enjoy your job |
