I don't think Nintendo will start releasing GameCube games on the Switch - yet - but they did say during the direct when Mario Maker 2 had its release date shown, that they have a goal to release a lot more of their older games through the Nintendo Online service on the Switch like they're currently doing with the NES and SNES. I'm sure eventually we'll get to GameCube games or maybe they'll do something like Sega did in the GameCube with the Sonic Mega Collection, which released a bunch of older sonic games onto the GameCube. Nintendo could probably eventually do something like that in categories like "Nintendo all Stars" would be Mario, Zelda, Pokmon, Kirby, Star Fox (I would say Metroid but I'm pretty sure Prime Trilogy is around the corner so no point in putting that on since those are the only Metroid games on GameCube.) Then the more 'niche' games that the GameCube had, compiled into their own such as "fan favourites" or something along those lines

Yeah, I don't think we will see this for a while, but It would be awesome to play SSX Ticky on the Switch

Why tho it would be so sick if they had GC Games on switch!

While I agree it seems like the GameCube has been forgotten, it was one of nintendos least popular consoles maybe including the wii-u. But it did have great titles. What I would do to play super mario sunshine or mario kart double dash again!

Also during this E3 I am still hopeful for good news on animal crossing supposed to be coming out this year but no info yet but it's hard to give out info on a game that rarely has changes.
Yeah, I think your right, the console is long gone lol. Its a shame, because I think it would have done really well, as there were many awesome games. To play them on the Switch would have been amazing, but for real, doubt it will ever happen. Either way, I'm excited to see what new games they come up with as I'm still looking to buy a Switch for work ha!

I think we'll eventually get to GameCube games. The reason I say that is Nintendo has been going hard after ROM sites and those sites seemed to mostly have used the N64, GameBoy and GameCube games in Nintendo sections and the amount of backlash Nintendo gets for it has to get someone over there thinking that people still want to experience those games. Nintendo had released their NES and SNES Classis consoles recently and now they're porting over NES games onto the Switch's Nintendo Online. I think once they get through most of that library, they'll move onto SNES for online, then maybe N64 and then maybe GameCube and so on. I don't think we'll be getting a N64 Classic or GameCube Classic consoles at all, but I do believe we will eventually have some of their games ported over to the Nintendo Online service as games for both N64 and GameCube I would argue have the biggest nostalgia for their fans because it's safe to assume most people who still play Nintendo either had a N64 or GameCube and they hold those games closer.

Reggie stole the only Animal Crossing game/data so he can play it on his new Nintendo 4DS prototype...

But no, Animal Crossing will 100% be shown at E3. In the Isabelle reveal trailer for Smash Ultimate, the ending credit showed "Welcome to Animal Crossing 2019." Nintendo would have more than likely said if any delays were coming, seeing how they let the news out about Metroid Prime 4 and that was a really risky move. Metroid fans have been wanting a continuation to the Prime series since 2007 and it's stupid cliffhanger they left it on and then the cliffhanger that Metroid Federation Force had that linked into the two. They got everyone hyped by just the teaser being shown in 2017, everyone was expecting a 2019 release date and then they announce that the whole project is being scrapped and re-worked because they weren't happy with the development speed or cycle. The amount of risk and courage they had to do with saying that, knowing it would upset a lot of people worked off so well for them in the end because people understood and turns out that some people who worked on the original Prime are coming to work on Prime 4 now, which has a lot of people happy about it because it's familiar faces. So with Animal Crossing, I strongly believe it's still going as planned because if they were able to tell Metroid fans that the project wasn't meeting their expectations, needs to be reworked from scratch, which will probably delay the game by another 2-4 years when people already had expectations, they would have said something about Animal Crossing being delayed by now.

It would be amazing to see a re do of GameCube and 64. Be great to play the great classics again. And hopefully the prices would not bad either.

Also during this E3 I am still hopeful for good news on animal crossing supposed to be coming out this year but no info yet but it's hard to give out info on a game that rarely has changes.

And hopefully the prices would not bad either.

i believe animal crossing is being released new game for switch so thats hype this has alot of potential.
but i would love to play classic AC from gamecube!

Yes it will be coming out. I think late 2019 sometime 2019 it says. I haven't played animal crossing sence 3DS. Will be my first time playing it in my early 20s.
I've never actually played animal crossing but I've heard so many good things about it, I might just have to try it before the new one releases

With Nintendo getting Mario Maker 2 & the new Pokemon information out before E3 I think they are going to be showing lots of new stuff. We will definitely get a Metroid trailer. Here's the whole list of what we will probably see.

Metroid
Animal Crossing
Smash DLC
Pikmin 4 / Pikmin World
Luigi's Mansion
N64 VC
Bayonetta 3
Astral Chain
Links Awakening
Game Freaks new game
