Hi, looking to buy an Oculus rift S when it comes out and I see it's only connected via display port and a USB. Problem is I have a GTX 970 and the display port is being used up already for my Asus 24" 144hz monitor. So thought I would change to HDMI but realized I can't get the 144hz anymore, is that because I don't have a correct HDMI 1.4+ cable? if so could i just buy the correct cable? does the image quality suffer using HDMI over DisplayPort Cable?
