If you want, move up to the 12700k, or 32gb of RAM, or add more storage as you see fit. This system leaves you room to find one or two monitors, some peripherals, a graphics card. If you didn't know, graphics cards are pretty tough to buy nowadays. If you want the best of the best, you're gonna overpay 2nd hand. Buy an operating system key 3rd party.
I used scan.co.uk to source this parts list, except the thermal paste which I found on Amazon.co.uk Intel i5 12600KF Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240mm AIO MSI Pro Z690-A Motherboard Corsair Vengeance RGB 16GB 3600 M/T DDR4 RAM Western Digital Blue 1TB M.2 SSD EVGA GD 700w 80+ Gold Power Supply Fractal Design Meshify C ATX case Total inc VAT: £826.91 Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut 2g Thermal Paste ((AMAZON LINK)) |

PCPartPicker Part List
CPU: Intel Core i7-12700K 3.6 GHz 12-Core Processor (£346.99 @ Technextday) CPU Cooler: be quiet! Get whatever RX 6800/RTX 3080/similar GPU that you're happy with and can find within your budget. Could maybe go Ryzen instead of Intel, entirely down to your preference really. If you went Ryzen, I'd probably just get a similar Asus X570 motherboard, 2x16GB 3200/3600MHz DDR4, and an R7 5700x or R9 5900x. |
