I would like to play sound through my Astro a50 headset and soundbar and be in an Xbox party chat. I tried connected my a50 and sound to my pc but only one is playing sound. I tired sound settings to change the properties but that didn't help. I want to play game sound (Wz, vg, halo, and other games) for both a50 and soundbar, but I want sound from the Xbox party chat app to play sound through only A50. The reason why is most of my friends I play with are on Xbox and would like to communicate in party chat. What would I need to achieve this?
Basically, Game sound such wz, halo etc to A50 and soundbar Xbox party chat app to A50 only |

You would need a way of routing the audio to specified outputs so something like Voicemeeter should work fine. You will need to have the game audo on one input and the chat on another so that you can output just the game to the soundbar and both audio sources to your headset.
Here is an example of how you would setup Voicemeeter however your configuration may need to be a little different. There are plenty of tutorials on how to do this type of thing so you should be able to achieve your goal. If you get stuck, feel free to reply so that myself or someone else can assist you further. |

Is the soundbar you're using hooked up with an optical cable or 3.5mm jack? |
