The beta includes just a small part of the whole multiplayer experience of the game, but it shall be enough to get a taste of the game and to test the netcode, as it happened with PS4 and Xbox One players.
The test has the goal to stress test core systems and the online infrastructure with the scale provided by a big crowd of gamers, give PC players with their first hands-on experience of the game, and getting feedback from the community to fine-tune the game on Windows.
On top of that we get the minimum specs for the beta, so you can see if your rig can run it at all. The recommended specs weren’t included in the announcement, but the developer promised that they’ll come with the next update.
