3DS exclusive Kirby: Planet Robobot is on its way to the Switch, a well-known Nintendo insider has said. Such a release would ostensibly help keep the Switch supplied with new titles even as Nintendo shifts the bulk of its development resources toward its next-generation console.

Developed by Japanese studio HAL Laboratory, Kirby: Planet Robobot is an action platformer that launched on the 3DS in mid-2016.
