Xbox One Update for Insiders Adds 120Hz Support, Game Groups and More
First of all, we get support for 120Hz monitors on both 1080p and 1440p resolutions. Users will also be able to group up their games and app in new “group” pins, supporting custom names, with the ability to add them to the home screen.
Incidentally, groups won’t be rolled over to the whole alpha ring initially, but they will be gradually be distributed to batches of users within the ring over time.
Another interesting quality of life feature is the ability to trim clips directly in the guide, to help you share just the perfect moment on social media.
Improvement family settings will include a new “details” page that will let parents find and manage all easily find and manage all family options on the console.
The Xbox accessories app has been made easier to navigate, and some button commands have been changed to make the dashboard more intuitive and user-friendly.
Below you can check out some images of the new features. In other Xbox News, you can check out the original Xbox games that have become accessible on Xbox One via backward compatibility, and some massive enhancements for a bunch of Xbox 360 games on Xbox One X.

SakiPotion To bad no game will get 120 fps so this is useless.
It sets a precedent for the future and when the Xbox 1X V2 comes out with a Ryzen CPU and a 15 tflop GPU old games will benefit from that FPS bump.
In the mean time there's no excuse for smaller indie titles to be running at 60 fps. Of course there's also the added benefit of the UI being butter smooth now thanks to the more than double in refresh rate.
no game is going to run at 120fps right now on any of the xbox version that are out right now so its a useless add to be fair. and im not the one to rant about how much better a pc is and console is a rip off but its true. Ive been a console player for like 10 years now and just got a pc and its much better and i saved alot of money than i would on console. having to buy membership, upgrade to the next console bc they made my old one lag bc "it couldnt handle the new updates" why release it to the og xb1 then?, and games are way much cheaper! i feel like people should start saving for a pc and not a $1000 but $600/$700 is enough for a pc to run most games at more than fair graphics. console is a rip off if you do the math per year on what you spend.
