Alt codes,
Alt codes let you insert symbols on to what you are typing.
ok on a normal computer(Desktop)you use the Alt button to the right next to the space bar.

What you will do is hold down the Alt button and type in numbers(On the number pad to the bottom right)

see example MW2 the is Alt code 0174
Remember you must hold down Alt the entire time.
