We all know that no country is perfect. My country, US, damn sure isn't perfect. As majority of the world knows, the US has had quite a few shootings recently this year. I'm not gonna sit here and try to deny the fact that there isn't an issue going on. The thing that I am here to address is when there is an issue as in today's shooting(s) that happened, majority of the UK members on this site are quick to jump in and talk so much shit about the US and how many problems we have and throwing out all these false and outdated stats when in all honestly they really know nothing about the US and what they think they know they get from click bate new sources that are normally false or the story is so twisted it's ridiculous. They always try to throw in how perfect the UK is doing, granite, the UK doesn't have shootings like we have had recently, but they also don't have the same rights, we the people of the US, have. They also seem to don't realize even if the government seized everyone's weapons that 1. People wouldn't give them up, without more violence and more shootings. 2. Criminals are going to be criminals and get guns through different underground trades. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that I'm tired of the UK members on this site boasting about how their country is damn near perfect. Guess what? We are America not the fcking United Kingdom.

shit is getting out hand and is so damn immature.

You also have to remember though, there are also people from the UK and really any other country who DO understand the way the US works and will also defend and debate maturely in favor of the US.

If someone is acting immature or being stupid and making themselves seem like asshats, you do have to remember this is a gaming forum... not the best place to come and look for debates or serious conversation about political issues. While you WILL be able to find some users.. I mean lets face it, its a gaming forum lol..

Not saying this is where I look for my news info, that's why in the title I described this as an on site issue.

Guns legal or not, people still will get them. There's a lot of guns here and always will be. If you can't get a gun, you take a knife.

Can you please link me one person that says the UK is perfect? I mean it's just gone to war with Islamic state dropping air strikes that cost 500k when there's people that work can still barely afford to eat. I don't think anyone thinks the UK is perfect, I just think you want to believe the United States is better than the UK. Which, let's be completely honest in terms of crime and mass shootings/ mass murders it's not.

Anyway, why did you bring this up? We should be trying to stop these attacks, arguing about which country is better will not decrease the fact that this stuff is happening, we should be working together, not fighting.

They always try to throw in how perfect the UK is doing

Either I am reading the above sentence incorrectly, or you didn't realise you said the above.

In any case, all this shows to me is you're annoyed at foreign people for having a view on the world. Guess that you believe only American's have free speech, huh?

Well, I myself am from the UK. I don't dislike America by any means, no no. but I absolutely hate Donald Trump and half the stuff he says even though it doesn't effect me in anyway.

Some stuff America does is amazing, but in all honesty... what UK person would ever support a country where drinking Irn Bru is illegal.

America your missing out on a gem here and no I can't describe the taste because... it's Irn Bru!

Sure America would probably be better of with taking guns away from people but surely more criminals die from being shot than innocent civilians. Even with the awful shootings that have gone on.

In short America, you can keep your guns and come here. I'l gladly share a case of Irn Bru with you all. Unless your Donald Trump.

The OP never said that the US was better than the UK, in fact the OP even pointed out some problems of the US. I don't know why you even try to make a point about that, it is almost like your trying to start a arguement.

I agree, and what i think that a lot of people don't think about is how gun control affects the people who are law abiding citizens and have no mental problems, the goverment at that point is just being a bully bye taking away our guns. And do people realize how many crimes are stopped by people who legally have guns?
