Granted, there’s nothing here that’s quite blockbuster material, as most of the games are family oriented. However, there are a few diamonds in the rough that you can play on PS4 and PC, as well as – through the summer, anyway – PlayStation 3, PS Vita and PlayStation TV.
Fans of platforming will certainly enjoy the likes of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams and Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, while shooter fans will get a kick out of Zack Zero. There’s also some fun fighting antics with Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends (think of it as an alternate to Smash Bros). There’s also a handful of titles based on popular animated films, including How To Train Your Dragon 2 and Rio.
Perhaps the biggest draw of the pack is the Sega classic Sonic Adventure 2. Originally released for the Sega Dreamcast, the game has since seen a release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as a high-definition title, and features a number of playable characters, including Sonic, Tails and Knuckles.
There are also a couple of Adventure Time games being offered as well, including Finn and Jake Investigations and The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom. They’re both pretty decent titles, and now you can give them a shot without having to drop a single penny.
The count of games now available on PlayStation Now is over 450, making it a reasonable value for the $20 monthly asking price.
The list is as follows:
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
Zack Zero
Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack
Aqua Panic!
Rio
Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations
Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom
Barbie and Her Sisters Puppy Rescue
How to Train Your Dragon 2
Kung Fu Panda Showdown of Legendary Legends
Monster High: New Ghoul in School
Kung Fu Rabbit
Legend of Kay Anniversary
Sonic Adventure 2
