Nintendo has finally confirmed sales figures for the new Switch console and they’re quite something. According to the company in its latest financial statement, the Nintendo Switch sold 2.74 million units worldwide from March 3rd to March 31st.

Japan saw 600,000 units sold while 1.2 million units were sold in the Americas. About 940,000 units were sold in regions designated as “Other” which includes Europe, Australia and so on. Keep in mind that this is up to March 31st, the end of the fiscal quarter. The current number is likely much higher.

A total of 5.46 million games were sold worldwide. Though 890,000 Switch titles were sold in Japan, 2.86 million were sold in the Americas and 1.71 million in the “Other” regions. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the clear winner with 2.76 million units sold. Even the Wii U version did well with 3.84 million units sold.
