Oculus Rift with Touch down to its lowest price yet

4.1
The headset that kicked off a whole wave of VR businesses and corporation competition, the Oculus Rift, is down to its lowest price since launch, at least in the UK and US territories.

You can currently order an Oculus Rift and Touch bundle for £399 in the UK or $399 in the US and, questionable currency conversion aside, that’s the lowest price this bundle has been in either of these areas. It’s also worth pointing out that this is the pack comprised of the Oculus Touch controllers as well as the headset itself. The Touch controllers alone are around £150 / $170 when purchased separately.

All in all, for your £399 / $399, you’ll be getting:

Oculus Rift VR headset
Oculus Touch controller pair
Lucky’s Tale
Robo Recall
Dead & Buried
Quill (Beta)
Medium
Toy Box

All of these are dropping, both in price & popularity. I hope some more value is created as an incentive for us to buy VR in the future.

Most likely due to all the money being invested in VR they will want to make them alot more cheaper so they can sell more.

Echo VR isin't big enough yet tbh, I think more people tend to go for the HTC Vive though, haven't got to try any of them yet

I've tried them out despite not liking VR, yeah HTC Vive is much better imo.

The price in my opinion is still too high, I would love to try VR but I won't be buying it myself as I still like to see my surroundings!

Still won't be purchasing one. Just prefer consoles over anything else.

Feel like i'm seeing a lot of the same news, but again here in the UK still not cheap enough for me to invest in.

399 in US and UK... FU import taxes..

But still not a bad price for probably the best VR gear around. Still not cheap enough for me to invest into though..
