Would you spend $46,000 on Gran Turismo Sport? Because someone did.

This insanely expensive collector’s edition of Sony’s recently released racing game (which was only offered in Taiwan) not only came bundled with a PlayStation 4 Pro 1 TB system, PlayStation VR headset, racing wheel and racing seat, and 4K TV, but it also came with a 2018 Mazda MX-5. And no, not an in-game unlock for the 2018 Mazda MX-5, but an actual, real-life 2018 Mazda MX-5 adorned with both the PS4 and Gran Turismo logos.

The craziest part, however, is that someone already bought it. I guess if you’re already in the market for a new Mazda sports car, you might as well get Gran Turismo Sport and some sweet peripherals along with it.

Besides, the car itself looks pretty nice (as seen on NeoGAF), with a slick red paint job and some flashy yet tasteful racing stripes.


Unfortunately, the one thing this collector’s edition doesn’t have is a version of Gran Turismo Sport that isn’t an always-online game. However, to its credit, no edition of Gran Turismo Sport will have microtransactions, so let’s call it a wash.

Gran Turismo Sport is out now for PlayStation 4.
