Of course, one thing you shouldn’t expect from the Xbox One X is a “boost mode” of sorts like the PS4 Pro. That’s because games on the console are always using the full extent of the hardware according to Mike Ybarra, corporate VP of Xbox and Windows gaming. Ybarra also noted that older games will be “better”.
As for the user interface and having less overhauls, Ybarra told one Twitter user that the plan going forward would be to emphasize stability. So there will apparently be less major changes. We’ll believe it when we see it.

There isn’t a “boost mode” - it’s always allowing games to use the full HW. Older games will be better, etc.
