Over on Bethesda’s Twitter page, the studio released a new teaser image that shows the Big Ben tower in London smeared with pink paint on one side, alongside clock hands that are pointed at 5:14 on the clock face.
While clearly there’s no indication just yet of what the image itself may be teasing, many on Twitter have been speculating that the clock hands may represent the date, May 14th, and that we could potentially see a pre-E3 reveal from Bethesda Softworks coming up by next week.
The studio has had some recent attention this week after a retailer listing mentioned Rage 2, a sequel to the 2011 video game from developer id Software. Given that the possible Rage sequel may have been intended to be revealed at E3 2018, perhaps this might be a sign that Bethesda may be doing an early announcement ahead of E3, given that the proverbial cat is now out of the bag.
Regardless of what they are actually announcing, Bethesda clearly has something up their sleeves that may be shown soon, and for now, let’s at least have some fun speculating what exactly it might be.
