After this, there was some in-engine footage of Battlefield 5. Grand Operations was briefly on show, as planes and vehicles took part in an all out war. War Stories was also briefly shown off, in a mission called Nordlys War Story, with more details coming later.
Battlefield 5 was first revealed by EA on May 23, during a livestream in London hosted by the Daily Show's Trevor Noah. A release date of October 19 was announced for the World War Two shooter, although if you're either an EA Play or Origin Access subscriber, you can get access to Battlefield 5 eight days earlier than the final release date, on October 11.
Royale is coming to #Battlefield V, reimagined with the core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles. It will be unlike anything you’ve played before, and we’ll have more to talk about later this year.
