Nintendo has revealed that just one day after the game's surprise launch on Nintendo Switch, Fornite has already surpassed over two million downloads on the system when it debuted in the midst of the company's Nintendo Direct.
While this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise given that Fortnite already has a player base now in the hundreds of millions, the game already seems to be off to an incredibly good start on Nintendo Switch after just one day, and it's only sure to grow in the coming months. The Switch version, as detailed by Epic Games, also features crossplay with Xbox One, PC, Mac, and iOS users, though notably is unable to be supported against those on PS4.
Fortnite is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, iOS, and will also be coming to Android sometime later this summer.
Thanks to all the #Fortnite fans who've already helped build up over 2 million downloads on #NintendoSwitch! Still haven't jumped into the Battle Royale? Download it today for free on Nintendo #eShop! https://t.co/4xKVx2J2mL pic.twitter.com/brunlnnP7N
