The update is also available for the Android version of the game, where it will address some crashes that the game has been experiencing on the platform. The update is not available for the iOS version of the game.
There is no downtime associated with this update—however, Epic notes that you do need to download the update if you want to play online, so basically just download the update and get it out of the way. The good news is that it comes in at only 400MB, so it shouldn’t take much time or bandwidth to get it installed anyway. In fact, your systems should have downloaded it themselves, assuming you left them on Sleep Mode.
A patch is currently being deployed on all platforms (except iOS) to fix tournament issues and some Android crashes. No downtime, but you will need to download the update!
