Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Gets a Short but Spectacular TV Commercial

4
Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed the first TV commercial for Ace Combat 7 in Japan. As usual with most of the game commercials there, it’s quite short, but you can still feel your adrenaline pumping when watching it.

As previously announced, Ace Combat 7 will include a port of Ace Combat 5 as a pre-order bonus for PS4, while the Xbox One version will get Ace Combat 6 as a pre-order bonus.

The latest trailer for the game focused on aircraft customization, which includes a similar system to skill trees in RPGs. There’s also the trailer showing the game’s VR mode, which might make Ace Combat 7 the best VR aircraft piloting game we’ll ever get in years. Then, there’s the latest gameplay, showing the game’s mission 06 and 07. You can also read our recent interview on the game with producer Kazutoki Kono.

It feels a bit weird the game is finally coming, as it was delayed multiple times since its initial announcement in May 2015. It’s definitely one of the games I’m looking forward to the most in 2019.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will release on January 18th for PS4 and Xbox One, and on February 1st for PC through Steam.

Yeah that was short, a little too short, the clips were so fast you can't even get a good glimpse at the game without pausing every second

PS4 gets the Demon of Razgriz remake while Xbox gets the cringy "Go dance with the angels" remake. Would've been better if Xbox got Zero instead of 6. Not to say 6 was a shit installment, good story and all but 5 has a much better and superb story. Guess it'll be destroying the Chandelier and Aigaion for me instead of the Arkbird and SOLG. Still hyped regardless.
