Marvel’s Spider-Man on the PS4 has a huge host of nifty Easter eggs you can discover like Stan Lee’s cameo as the owner of Mick’s restaurant, the Avengers Tower or paying your respects to Uncle Ben to name a few – but there is an Easter egg that you may not have noticed on your travels around New York, particularly on a Saturday.
Yesterday, Elan Ruskin who is a senior engine programmer with Insomniac Games took to Twitter to disclose a secret to players who may not have known about it beforehand. This particular Easter egg forces on the pedestrians who walk around the streets but more specifically, the Orthodox Jews that you will find as you make your way around the city.
As many people know, Orthodox Jews don’t work or go outside on a Saturday due to the Sabbath and this is exactly the same in-game. If you adventure out with Peter Parker and try to find these characters on a Saturday in Spider-Man, you won’t have any luck since these NPCs don’t go out at all on that specific weekend day. This really detailed and cool Easter egg has always been in Spider-Man, but due to it not being overly noticeable, many players didn’t have a clue it existed – well, until now that is.
This feels like the right time to mention an Easter egg that everyone's passed over so far: these guys don't work on Saturdays! pic.twitter.com/kJydFBG4DG

I’m sure plenty of players of the title will be making their way around New York trying to spot Orthodox Jews on a Saturday now – you know, just to make sure.
