The Honor 20 series includes the Honor 20 itself, the beefed up Honor 20 Pro, and the more budget-friendly Honor 20 Lite.
All tout themselves as having strong gaming performance, but the key back-of-the-box feature for the Honor 20 and 20 Pro is “GPU Turbo 3.0” (the Lite only has 2.0) – which is supposed to help “play games faster” – and apparently a number of big mobile hitters are supported.
These include popular shooters like Fortnite and Knives Out, but also Minecraft, racers like Asphalt 9, and time-sink card games like Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links.
Think spending £400 on a phone just for a Fortnite skin is silly? This isn’t the first time that Epic has teamed up with a mobile manufacturer to release an exclusive skin.
At the start of the year it unveiled the Guard skin alongside the Honor View 20, but perhaps the most memorable was the pearlescent Galaxy skin that dropped in Spring 2018 with the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Tab S4. At release RRP on the S9 was closer to £750.
For a better look at the costume in action, we’ve embedded an unboxing from YouTuber TheRelaxingEnd, who gives the phone the full white glove treatment before proceeding to go on an absolute tear with the Wonder skin.
