PSN to be Offline from 4:05pm until 2am Friday morning GMT. PS3 owners who fancy playing games online tomorrow evening will need to sign in to the PlayStation Network before 4:05pm on Thursday afternoon to avoid disappointment. That's when the service will go offline for scheduled maintenance. It won't return until 2am on Friday morning. During the maintenance period, you will still be able to collect in-game trophies and these will be updated on your profile once PlayStation Network is back up and running.

During the maintenance, you will be unable to access the following services:
*PlayStation Store on PS3 and PSP

*PlayStation Network Account Management

*PlayStation Network Account Registration

*In addition, you will not be able to sign in to PlayStation Network from eu.playstation.com


Earlier today, Sony put out the latest update for the EU PlayStation Store, introducing the Splinter Cell HD trilogy, a Driver: San Francisco demo, and the Resistance 3 beta for PS Plus members, among other goodies.
