Though it’s quite easy to hit the 900 Power soft cap in Bungie’s Destiny 2, even without owning Shadowkeep, Bungie is offering a route to lessening the grind. It’s recently made Character Boosters available for $20 or 2000 Silver each. These will boost a character’s Power level up to 900 if you’re not interested in the grind.

However, it’s not that straightforward. First, you need to have a 900 Power character already. It can’t be stored either and will be consumed immediately for a character that’s under 900 Power so choose carefully. Overall, this seems more like a “time saver” for players who have already done a solid 6 to 8 hours of grinding.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC while Destiny 2 is free to play as New Light. Activities like the Vex Offensive are currently underway, which make it even easier to get good gear.
