This. Having played both since their respective first of their series, 2002 for Battlefield, 2003 for CoD1.
People believe their own opinion is always right, but face it it's like comparing tangerines with pomegranate each to their taste. I don't play games purely for their multiplayer, I do it for the campaign as well - the way it was during the 90's.
I play games for fun, not to be a fanboy **** all the time on the internet which is the better one.
Get over it and move on but if you insist on crying about it, write it down on a piece of paper then throw it in the bin by wasting only your time and not everyone elses.
Battlefield started earlier than that just saying :D
IIRC that was called Codename Eagle - but was not part of the Battlefield series just a prequel setting up for the future games, technically not inclusive of the name which came out in 1999/2000
