Earlier today, Capcom released a press release announcing that Monster Hunter Rise has officially surpassed five million units globally. "Monster Hunter Rise Surpasses 5 Million Units Globally! Strong unit sales growth supported by the positive reception of game concept and new gameplay features," reads the release. It's a huge success for Capcom considering Monster Hunter Rise is the first major Monster Hunter on the Nintendo Switch, and isn't multiplatform like World before it.
There are other Monster Hunter releases on the Switch console as well, including Monster Hunter XX and the upcoming Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, releasing on July 9, 2021.

Speaking of Monster Hunter Rise, the game sold over 4 million units during its launch weekend which is one million less compared to Monster Hunter World, which sold over 5 million during its opening weekend. But we have to mention that Monster Hunter World was released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, giving it two additional platforms to play with when it comes to overall sales.
MH Rise features old and new monsters in the game with a brand-new story campaign and tons of creatures to hunt. Similar to Monster Hunter World, Rise also features collectibles scattered across the map like Relics, Rampage Messages, etc. Not only that, but there are also tons of items that you can farm in the game including, Monster Materials, Quality Fin, High Quality Pelt, Warm Pelt, Sinister Cloth, and many more.
If you're having trouble with any of these monster huntings or looking to collect these items and materials, make sure you check out our complete Monster Hunter Rise guide and walkthrough wiki that contains everything you need to know about Monster Hunter Rise.
