Meanwhile, Rocksteady has made it clear that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s villain-centric plot will continue well after the game’s credits roll, with post-launch DLC bringing in new playable characters from DC’s multiverse. The first of these variants is The Joker, with Rocksteady deliberately designing this new version to be drastically different from the Clown Prince of Crime players battled in the Batman: Arkham games. Various leaks and rumors have hinted at some of the other characters being added to Suicide Squad post-release, with some of the names mentioned being past Arkham villains like Killer Croc and Deathstroke.
Some of the players who have already completed Suicide Squad’s 10-hour story campaign during the early access period are sharing a supposed DLC teaser screen that hints at Rocksteady’s post-launch plans. As shown in a post by Reddit user SpookyJedi on r/SuicideSquadGaming, this screen features background shots of various environments and silhouettes of the DLC characters connected to them. The already-confirmed Joker is shown in full, but the other three characters in Season 1 are left for the player to guess for themselves.

Joker - confirmed
Victoria Fries (Mrs. Freeze)
Zoe Lawton (Lawless)
Slade Wilson (Deathstroke)
Katana
Killer Croc
Fans are already drawing theories about the identities of the other three DC villains being hinted at, and these guesses line up with past Suicide Squad DLC rumors. The first character after The Joker is shown in a snow-filled environment, suggesting that they could either be Mr. Freeze or an alternate female counterpart from another Earth named Victoria. Some believe that the third teaser is for Lawless, a member of Task Force X from World War 2, but the image in question is difficult to make out. Lastly, users theorize that the fourth character shown is Deathstroke, whose connections with the Squad were hinted at back in Batman: Arkham Origins.
All of this is just speculation at this point, but many of these characters were already named in leaks and rumors surrounding Suicide Squad during the wait for the game’s full launch on February 2. Rocksteady has been hinting that its DLC characters might be different from the ones seen in previous Arkhamverse titles, starting with a new version of The Joker that will cackle his way into Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League in March.
