The Alan Wake 2 New Game Plus mode was added in an update called The Final Draft, giving fans plenty of reason to go back through the survival-horror adventure thanks to the promise of a new ending and fresh content. While some may have assumed that Remedy was done releasing big free updates for Alan Wake 2, another one is on the way later this spring.
Remedy recently took to Twitter to thank fans for sharing "stunning screenshots" of the Pacific Northwest and The Dark Place, the two settings where players spend most of their time in Alan Wake 2. Remedy promised that players will be able to get "even more creative" with their screenshots once Photo Mode comes, confirming that the feature is planned for an update dropping this spring. Spring 2024 is from March 19 to June 20, so fans should be able to expect Photo Mode to come to Alan Wake 2 within the next four months.
Thank you for all the stunning screenshots of the Pacific Northwest and the Dark Place.

While fans no doubt appreciate the free Alan Wake 2 updates that Remedy has released for the game since its launch, others may be growing anxious for news about the game's premium DLC expansions. Remedy has remained mostly quiet about what the Alan Wake 2 DLC has in store, but fans do know that the expansions are called Night Springs and The Lake House. It's quite likely that more information on the Alan Wake 2 DLC will come to light at some point later this year.
