Gran Turismo movie reportedly in production

Sony is currently developing a film adaptation for Gran Turismo, according to a film industry source.


According to a report by The Wrap, Fifty Shades of Grey producers Mike De Luca and Dana Brunetti have been recruited to develop the film, with three Sony execs tasked with overseeing the project.

The report follows a similar project for EA. DreamWorks has acquired the rights to a feature film adaptation of Need for Speed, with a Scott Waugh-directed film slated for a 2014 release.

Gran Turismo 6 will release this Christmas for PS3, but not PS4. A playable demo is currently available on the PlayStation Store.

Sony recently confirmed that the Goodwood Hill Climb course will feature in the game.

What is going to be the plot line behind this, it is a racing game. I mean now we have all these similar racing games are we going to have a string or racing movies? I really don't think this we do that well in theaters.

Mortar I really don't see how this is a good idea, the only car film that has done good is the Fast And The Furious franchise. I feel that they will be spending more money than they would make on this one.


Yeah I agree. usually games to movies are bad.
