Speaking to OXM, producer Mike Mejia said that the studio is happy with where it is right now but continue to work on improving it.
“So we’re 60 frames a second all the way,” he said. “We are not talking about the – we’re still waiting for announcements to come out in terms of where we’re at with the resolutions, but I can tell you that the three year development title that we’ve had, working with everyone involved to make sure that we’re getting it right… we’re still optimising the game, but even with where we’re at right now, we’re really happy.
“We’re ahead of where we were last year, and we still have time, we still have a couple of months to go.”
Mejia also touched on the extra power provided to Xbox One developers following the June SDK update.
“All that stuff is all coming online too, as we talk to all the first-party partners that we have – we have a direct connection to those guys, so all that stuff is coming online now. I know we’re working with everyone, we’re working with Sony, we’re working with Microsoft, we’re really happy with what we’re looking at.”
Do you think we’re going to have a similar resolutiongate situation with this year’s Call of Duty like we did with Ghosts?
