Spencer: Screenshots, themes and more coming to Xbox One

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has announced that dashboard customization options such as themes and background images will arrive on Xbox One in the future. Spencer also confirmed the ability to take screenshots, something he says people "beat us up" about, will come in future updates.

"We're going to deliver on them. I can't give you a when yet, but people should know they are coming," Spencer told The Inner Circle Podcast, available in the video above at 37m 3sec.

Fun Fact: The Xbox logo used at the start of this video is the old Horizon logo.

I don't know about anyone else, but I have never really liked themes on the Xbox.
I with the customization feature that they would add is upload your own avatars.

More customization on the XB1 will be a nice addition. Although, it might look pretty ugly, I remember some of the themes on the 360 looked horrific.

I can see backgrounds and themes being useful but why screenshot? Whats the point?

There are many features that are on the Xbox 360 but not part of the XB1, which blows my mind.

If they bring voice messages, it will be the best thing ever, kids screaming at you for killing them on games such as Call of Duty hahaha!
