The Division Could Become One of Biggest New IP Launches – Ubisoft

4.7
Tom Clancy’s The Division will be out in early March and judging from the strong response that the betas have received, Ubisoft has high expectations. During the publisher’s Investor Day presentation (via GameSpot), managing director John Parkes said that the MMORPG/shooter has the chance to be one of the biggest new IP launches ever, beating current title holders Destiny and Watch Dogs.

“Because of its many attributes – RPG, shooter, massive online multiplayer, realistic setting in a beautifully recreated New York, great open world playable in solo or in co-op–The Division can become one of the biggest launches ever for a new IP.”

Parkes also reported how the closed beta witnessed more registrations than any title in the company’s history and that the actual number of beta players is three times higher than Ubisoft had expected.

The Division is out on March 8th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The open beta is currently live for Xbox One, PS4 and PC and will conclude on February 21st.

I have currently logged over 20 hours in this game, and I can say that in my personal opinion the game held up to the hype. The game is a ton of fun to mess around in, especially if you have friends to play it with.

I only got to play the beta twice but don't the bullets seem to not register immediately? Like the A.I. can hit you no big deal, but if its me I have to unload an entire damn magazine then wait for the bullets to register.
