the components in the xbox or the wires are bad.

take it apart and take a picture of the wiring i could help

Take your HDD off and then power it on.

if that doesn't work then your jtag needs reflowing and most likely you got scammed because it could just be a normal xbox with red ring just so you don't notice.

Ok, the 4 Red rings if DEFINITELY your cables, they're not plugged in properly
Don't listen to anyone else, and save yourself $65.
Literally, either buy some new cables, or properly plug them in.
Because 4 Red Rings is 10000000000% AV Cables.
I used to get it when I swapped my TV's from Jtag to My Normal Xbox, once the AV cable is unplugged it 4 RROD's.

check ur HDMI in ur xbox make sure its on HD Or tv or whatever ur using

and if none works try a different xbox and if another xbox works send the jtag back
