just whant to know what the latest and best working freestyle dash is for kernal 12625.

The latest I believe is the Freestyle Dash 2.0 RC2.1 - Once you have it installed, as long as you have an internet connection - you can then get fsd updates directly from TeamFSD. Very user friendly, in my opinion.
You will also need the dashlaunch 2.21 - According to the readme:

at time of this writing, this is ONLY compatible with "freeBOOT" versions
of dashes 9199, 12611 and 12625. Regardless of version, you must update
to the included patch set to retain full functionality (xbox1 in particular)
read info_launch.ini for info on options and setting launch parameters.
