Hi, I recently got help about getting my Games and Emulators to show up on Auto Discover. Now I need a little more assistance if possible. I am now having an issue getting some emulators to Auto Discover. It seems that the xex must be named default.xex for it to auto discover but am not sure. I have noticed that the emulators that do auto discover have default.xex names.
I have tried using FSD to rename them and it does give me a pop up when I try to rename them but it does not actually go through the renaming process. Are xex's read only or is there another alternative.
For instance XeBoyAdvance shows a default.xex in the specified folder and it does show up on Auto Discovery under my Emulators Tab in Xex Menu 1.1.
Cpx3 unfortunately does not and needs to be booted up when I go to its directory and xex itself. It's xex is named Emulator.xex. Is there another alternative to renaming this file besides FSD (Xex Menu I see does not have a renaming feature) without corrupting it and being able to show under Auto Discovery in Emulators tab in Xex Menu 1.1.
Thank You.

I believe in the main page on xexmenu that displays the temps, there is an option that says Discover default.xex only or something like that. Scroll down to it and hit over on the dpad until it is a 0 (0 means false) and than hit A to restart xexmenu

i just put mine in my games folder and make sure your game paths are set on fsd and they will show in fsd! you mite need to find which tab they show up in and move from there in fsd. ie.. emulators/homebrew/xbox360/or arcade
