right click the icon go to properties customize change icon then scroll to the left till you see a white space click it and there you go

i bet you have windows xp

uhm the only thing i can do to help is make there be no text but i don't have xp so i cant help with the outlining sorry

actually try this. Right click My Computer. Click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab. Under Performance, click Settings. Click the Visual Effects tab. Uncheck everything EXCEPT Smooth edges of screen fonts. Click Apply, Apply, and close.
