I got my Jasper jtag today and it came with an American power supply (As I suspected it would).
Anyway I got my xenon power plug in, not the brick. and plugged it into the Jasper power brick. It made a loud band and I could smell a burning smell afterwards.
What have I done?

What made the bang, the brick or the Jasper? If it was the brick, I would just buy a new brick... that's the easiest thing to do.

Yes it was the brick and would a xenon brick work with a Jasper?
This is all connected to an Australia wall power supply.

you exposed the jasper powerbrick to a voltage that it was not meant for... thus frying the circuts and wires inside.
