All I did what take off the heatsinks and replaced em with washers and thin bolts like it was done in a video i found ages ago on youtube...and that fixed the RROD to one of my xboxs and its been running strong for a year now..the penny trick seems like a terrible idea

A few hours. About 3-5.
Personally I don't know what to do. It might just be my Xbox.
I have never encountered an xbox like the one I have sitting in my closet.
The thing is from the original launch it lasted a long time without Red Ringing(ringed two months ago) since then I tried every fix in the book, xclamp, penny, towel, and re applying thermal paste.
(Yes I did all these methods correctly, I'm not technical/xbox360 illiterate.
I'm stumped, I want to fix it but it seems nothing will work. If anyone knows anything else I could do I'll give it a shot.
