I kinda found out it is easier to get used to parents separated and remarrying when the child is younger. Your soon to be step-brother should be fine but you might find it hard to adapt. My parents deivorced when I was about 3 or 4. Mom got remarryed when I was 5 or 6 and I was fine with it. My dad didn't take it too hard but he had trouble finding someone else.

My mam got re-married, my dads still single, they split up about 7 years ago now. So for half of my life.

My mam must of got married recently, but they were already living together so it had no effect on me...

Basically, don't worry.
