Infinity Ward was suppose to offer a full cooperative play for Modern Warfare 2's story mode, but decided to drop it in the last minute because it ruined the experience. So instead of a full co-op mode, the devs decided to include Spec Ops mode.

When there was the first alledged leak on Modern Warfare 2. One of the key leaks was a co-op camapaign. It was overlooked because of the popular belief of Alien Terroists. Now after about 6 months we are left with the truth. Good article taco. Keep up the good work.

That would be cool if spec ops had a gun easter egg like the ray gun one in that one mission in WaW

I agree, spec ops will be better that coop (we'll have to see if it will be better that Zombies tho)
