Ash just get the HDD of the Elite. It still has the HDD Serial # and all its glory. I would reccomend doing that also because of the space that MW 2 is going to take up.

So basically Macgee's telling me to buy a Harddrive of an elite and use it with my normal 360?

Well I said I would recommend getting the 120 Gb HDD a.k.a Harddrive because it would allow you to install every game on to it and you would get a free transfer cable to transfer everything.

Neil I believe that it is different in U.S. than in Ireland. I think the Ms in Ireland is a lot less easy going and could care less if people mod where the Ms here is so worried about there reputation they forget what fun is.
