Step 1- Delete your previous patches for the game (Done on XMB)
-Go to, Game>Game Data Utility>Mw2(17mb) or CoD4 patch(12mb)
-Delete one of them or both, whatever game you want to bypass the patch for

Step 2- Download the patch blocker

Step 3- Setup a proxy on your ps3 (Done on XMB)
- Go to, Settings>Network Settings>Internet Connection Settings
-Follow all the ways your connection is normaly setup, but with custom for the method
-Scroll all the way until you get to proxy server, click use on it
-Open up the patch blocker and type in the Ip from the patch blocker onto the Proxy Server on the Ps3 (Basically copy the IP on the Patch Blocker onto the Address bar on the ps3 where the IP address is put)

Last thing for step 3, is to scroll to the end and save the connection settings

Step 4- Easy
-Before you sign into PSN, hit start on the patch blocker
-Sign into PSN
-If you signed in as normal, it worked
-After that just boot up cod4 or mw2 and there you go, you have bypassed all patches for that game and now can get into online tenth prestige lobbies, or split screen/system link tenth lobbies
