WHAT IS PRIILOADER

For those of you who are unaware of priiloader and similar programs they're designed to help prevent/recover from certain bricks as well as provide system menu hacks like allowing region free channels and games, block disc and system updates and change the way your Wii boots to and what, for example I have mine set up to run a custom start up video instead of the standard Health Warning screen, and instead of booting to the system menu mine boots to USB Loader GX, and I have assigned short cut keys on my Wii remote to boot to different games/programs. But that's just the little bonus perks the main function is ten times cooler.

WHAT DOES PRIILOADER DO

Once Priiloader is installed it gives you the option to load Priiloader before your system start up. to simplify I'll give you a common use of Priiloader. Say you just installed a new .WAD that bricked your system, power off your system, then power it back up and press and hold the reset button to bring up the Priiloader menu, and select boot to Homebrew Channel, now you can navigate back to wad manager and uninstall the bad .WAD and write a nasty email to it's creator if you like and viola unbricked Wii.

Personally I use Priiloader cause I think it's the most user friendly program of it's kind, it's really just preference, bootmii does the same thing and offers the same protection last time I checked. Regardless of which program you choose it's important to have one no matter the level of modding your planning on doing. Here's the link for priiloader with all the instructions and help you'll need [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Please feel free to post any questions here or PM me if your having trouble installing or understanding the program or if you have a bricked Wii and are looking for information on how to recover your system
